The Town of Franklin is located in the Northwest portion of Macon County strategically situated on Interstate I-85 just 20 miles Southwest of the City of Auburn and 20 miles Northeast of the City of Montgomery. Our prime location offers the “best of all worlds” with a small-town, friendly atmosphere and large, open, rural spaces providing superior quality of life, while only a few minutes from big city amenities. Mid-South RC&D Grant
New Sign installation
The Town of Franklin is deeply appreciative of the Mid-South RC&D grant that enabled us to purchase and install a new sign for Franklin Town Hall with a message board to keep everyone informed and up to date. Franklin Residents, stay tuned for local announcements of meetings and events in our town. Thank you to the Mid-South RC&D Staff, Board of Directors and our Local Legislators for helping to make this happen!
